In-Home Parent Coaching – Get help doing the hard stuff.

Parenting is tough, especially when it comes to caring for infants and toddlers who rely on the adults around them for everything. Add family hardships and the stress of daily living to the mix, and the challenge can be overwhelming.

ABC (Attachment Biobehavioral Catch-Up) helps you learn to successfully parent through it by:

  • Strengthening the relationship between you and your child.
  • Teaching your child to communicate better.
  • Helping you recognize your child’s unique signs of distress and how to respond.

To request services, fill out the intake form through Help Me Grow, our centralized access point to local resources across the state. A Help Me Grow Care Coordinator will contact you for more detail.

Here’s how it works.

The program is straightforward, brief and tailored to your family. Our parent coaches are highly trained infant and early childcare specialists who offer:

  • 10 sessions – one hour per week in your home with structured parenting topics and in-the-moment commenting on interactions.
  • Positive feedback using video clip reviews and commentary on live interactions with your child from the previous week.
  • End-of-program celebration video of your family’s special moments.

We encourage other family members and siblings to participate in the sessions as well.

Are you an early child care professional interested in becoming an ABC Parent Coach?
